This week he goes over the meaning  of the meaning of the lizard and what it represents as a totem.

Lizard represents Dreaming. The Lizard rules the shadow side of life where dreams are put into reality. Aspirations and goals in life must be well thought out, contemplated and acted on in the right way to manifest into reality; Lizard represents dream time where messages and abstract information is put together in a workable way.

It is an indication of stress or not enough sleep, or broken sleep, to not dream or not remember. The lizard is telling you to sleep well and dream for the solutions to you achieving your goals in life will be reveled during dream time. It is also the time when we file away any unresolved issues that are barriers to our happiness and peace of mind.

If lizard has entered as a totem, he is telling you to pay great attention to symbols and recurring patterns in our dreams. If a person can not remember dreams it is advisable to create a dream log (usually dreams make sense to us when we look at patterns; repetitive faces and symbols). It is very essential to life to sleep well, some people find that music, meditating, or praying helps them to sleep and active REM (which according to science is when our brain is the most active and dreaming the most deeply).

We must remember the a balance of mind, body, and spirit all benefit and are necessary to our lives. Please do not underestimate the necessity of dreaming in our personal lives. Our lives in most part have become very active in our modern world. We also must remember that about half of our lives are spent sleeping and dreaming.

Nightmares are a manifestation of unresolved or ongoing problems or stresses in our lives; another message is that you may need more sleep or dream time to feel the best you can; and prepare for the activity of daily life. Depending on the individual or situation the symbol of the lizard could be mild or extremely important.
