The two of pentacles is a very compelling card. A highly active type of card where keeping yourself together is necessary. You’ll be juggling many different things at one time like work, home or even school. But you’ll be using your expertise in making sure that everything works out. This is also a card that will suggest you follow the money. Many say that when this card appears in a reading it’s because you have an opportunity to enhance your financial stability. Only the catch is you’ll have to either travel far or relocate. There’s the sense of decisions to be made when you look over the energy this card brings forth. Even the young man holding the pentacles has such a serious look. As if he’s contemplating the hardest questions in life.
Card Description: Rider-Waite Tarot Deck: A young man is alone on this card and appears to be dancing or hoping. He is holding two pentacles that have a cord joining them in a sideways 8. It looks like he’s trying judge between decisions. However we do not see what it is he is contemplating. In the background we see the sea and a two ships on it. The mellow colors of this card draw attention to the bright colors the young man is wearing. His facial features suggest he’s in deep thought possibly pondering a serious decision about his life.
Card Meaning: There seems to be a lot of this or that with this card. It definitely means you will be doing some juggling to get things done. Balance is needed from you and be sure to understand that you will experience some obstacles. No to worry, when this card comes up in a reading you’ll know you can get the job done. There is the possibility when you see this card that you may be experiencing some emotional baggage and are trying to escape by keeping too busy. Whatever the situation is you’ll be in the thick of it. Sometimes when this card comes up it could mean a trip of some sort that may be linked to your job. Follow the money because it will be the best thing for you.
In Reverse: Imbalance is the key word for the two of pentacles in reverse. There seems to be a lack of productivity and you’ll find how emotions are starting to affect your work. Take things one step at a time. You’ll see the progress when you go at that pace. Sometimes when this card comes up we see someone who’s decided to not take advantage of an opportunity due to needing to move. Business travel can also be affected when this card comes up. Be wary and have a plan B in the works.
