My self-taught lessons have taken me on an interesting journey. To share this with you is a great experience. Hopefully these blogs about each card help you as well. I had my mind mostly clear while selecting the next card. No real connection can be made with this particular pick at this time. I have decided to change up how I prepared these cards and am now going to include the reverse meanings as well. Learning the cards is usually the first step but knowing and understanding reverse aspects are just as important. Reverse meanings usually are the more negative or downsides of the card you are interpreting. The next card I pulled from my deck is the King of Pentacles. A very interesting card in the way it looks.
Card Description: Rider-Waite Tarot Deck
An elderly gentleman sits on a thrown with beautiful green ivy plants all around, not only on this clothing but growing around him as well. There’s a castle in the distance on the right hand side of the picture looking pristine in its grandeur. The king sits on his thrown holding a pentacle in one hand and a scepter in the other. His eyes appear to be down cast as if he’s in deep thought while holding a serene appearance. The thrown is a half and half combination. Gold bull heads on the top and silver bull heads on the bottom. The king’s foot is sticking out of the bottom of his robes showing everyone that he wears his armor underneath.
Card Meaning:
Upright: Usually depicts an older man who is very earthy and tends to indicate a gentleman over the age of 40. This card usually signifies a man either in your life or a man coming into your life. This card is usually associated with the bull or astrologically speaking this card is usually connected to the sign Taurus. He is hard working, devoted and gives generously. This can also be the material card, involving earthly possessions and achieving social success..
Reverse: The meaning is still similar to the upright meaning except that the man being described or situation being described indicates that this person will do pretty much anything for money or will put themselves before others. There is more of a negative feel to this person. Watch for repressed anger and someone who places the blame on others.
Key Words and Associations
Upright: Control, power, abundance and sophistication.
Reversed: Authoritative personality and erratic mood swings towards relationships.

I really enjoy and look forward to these explanations of the cards. I don’t read the cards myself, but when a reading is done for me in person, it gives me more out of the reading when I know a deeper meaning of a card. Pictures are just pictures unless you know something about it.. Thank you.
Judy,

Thanks again.
If these meanings are published as a whole, I would be very interested in obtaining them.
