So we all heard about the melt down between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. The diva’s started ripping it up on the set of Idol and captured the eyes of everyone watching. So let’s take a look at the good, the bad and the ugly (astrologically speaking) into the lives of these ladies and how they interact with each other.
Mariah Carey (Aries) March 27th 1970 ,Huntington, NY
Nicki Minaj (Sagittarius) December 8, 1982, Saint James, Port of Spain (Trinidad and Tobago)
Mariah: The Aries
The Good: She’s got a strong personality and is known to be a pioneer in whatever she does. She’s compassionate and has a sense of harmony that gives off the calm reassuring vibe a lot of people really enjoy. She’s your typical popular girl next door who’s not only smart but also genuine.
The Bad: Mariah’s ego is strong. She’s a very opinionated and an independent thinker. She is usually unsatisfied and easily irritated. She’s not one to be prepared for sudden conflicts and sadly will often times give in but only for the sake of her own sanity. She’ll internalize things but don’t let that fool you into thinking its weakness. It’s giving her enough time to come back with a burn you’ll feel the rest of the day.
The Ugly: She’s the boss and if she feels you’re tying to push her in any which way she’ll see it as a personal attack to her sense of freedom. Ego bruising is quite common when or if she’s in a position where she feels her opinions are not heard or appear as though they’ve been pushed aside. She loves to criticize and contradict unfortunately sometimes she lacks diplomacy and may come across a bit self centered and rude.
Nicki: The Sagittarius
The Good: She’s got a strong sense of adventure and the blunt attitude to move forward. The original free spirit Nicki is one who can’t be held down by clingy or oppressive energy. She’s a passionate person who loves life, has a knack for being bluntly honest, and generous to a fault.
The Bad: She’s got a need to be positive and if you damper that she’ll go off. She’s wont hesitate to say what she feels regardless of weither or not you want to hear what she has to say. She has an appreciation for everything around her and cannot stand it when other’s do not.
The Ugly: She’s got a bit of a conflict of self which leads to misrepresentation. She really needs to have a better understanding of how others look at her and work on how she can put her personality out there in a more accurate type of way. If she chooses to ignore this key advice she’ll continue to either feel misunderstood or just plain rub people the wrong way.
The two of them together:
In light of the issues these two have let’s start this off on a positive note shall we? Aries and Sagittarius usually go together quite well.
The Good: They share the same need of independence, family bonds are equally important to them, and they both have a great love and compassion for the world around them. The relationship these two could possibly have really would be beneficial to one another. And when confrontations do arise these two have the ability to work things out if they choose so.
The Bad: There’s a strong passionate side to both of these ladies. But this can be destructive if not properly maintained. Jealousy and resentment is a very strong possibility between these two divas. The outcome could result in being labeled as enemies and burning bridges being formed mostly because one will feel spurned by the other.
And the Ugly: Nicki will feel and bluntly say that Mariah has no appreciation for those around her and a confrontation will be direct and rather nasty. Mariah won’t say much during a confrontation but do expect Mariah will read too much into what Nicki does and says. This of course will not sit well with Nicki and she’ll feel oppressed and unable to express her self. A horrible circle if you ask me. Two flames usually are better than one, but if not carefully monitored it can leave those around them feeling scorched by the fire they spew. Idol will certainly be heating up this season, hopefully no one gets burned in the cross fire.
