Wikileaks causing Karmic debt.

As you may or may not know, earlier this month Julian Assange, the founder of “Wikileaks” released a slew of formerly classified documents regarding the U.S. Intelligence, Department of Defense, foreign relations, and other tidbits of information.

Thomas Jefferson said, “When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.” Many people use this quote as a shield to do whatever they like and claim they are merely being libertarian.

What then are the societal repercussions? How does having this information empower us as citizens of the United States, or of the world?

Responsibility, and accountability govern the laws of Karma and reincarnation, it seems to me that Mr. Assange has little of either. In many cases, he is sensationalizing the information to make it seem more interesting than it is, and to cause a stir among the public at large. According to Karma, what you put out into the world comes back to you.

The question I wonder about as well is, how will this affect Mr. Assange not just socially or legally, but spiritually? Is Julian Assange a libertarian rebel, enlightening the uninformed masses with his near cartoonish hijinks? Will he be rewarded for courage, or come back in his next life as banana slug in a salt mine?

I’ve consulted with a few of our psychics about the potential damage Mr. Assange is doing to himself on a spiritual level, and this is what they had to say on the topic:
“On a karmic level, he is sealing his doom, he’s setting out to cause harm to the country that has done nothing to harm him, and so to me he’s doing this for the wrong reasons, for the thrill, not to positively impact the lives of the people.”

“He’s brought a lot of pressure on himself, information is important, the original intention may have been good, but now it’s too fast. Information is good, but not when it’s poured on, not when there’s too much of it. There are certain things that shouldn’t be released to the public, due the ability to damage credibility.
He’s going to have a hard time finding credible people who will be of help to him, and he’s doing damage to the freedom of the internet, and may be causing damage to the internet and inviting more government control.
Considering the amount of information that was released and the direct statements from people, this person is going have trouble finding trustworthy people and friends. He’ll be feeling pretty guilty about a lot of this and it’s going to be very stressful for him, he will be dealing with it forever, he’s bitten off more than he can chew with all this.”
